If you have multiple credit cards and a lot of debt, debt stacking is the best method to maximize your payments to the credit cards. I was once in $12,000 worth of unsecured debt, and used this method to pay the balance off in less than 2 years. Simply put, the system uses the principle of attacking the highest interest rate credit card first, while only making minimum payments to the other cards.

I'm going to try and keep this short today, but if you are thinking of investing in certificate of deposits, think again. Though safe, these investments yield little to nothing in interest. Even if you can get a 5% rate of return (which is unlikely in today's market), you will still only be doing slightly better than the current inflation rate. Now some of you may be thinking this:
But Jeffry, not only is a certificate of deposit safe, but I can borrow against it when I need some money.

Deciding whether to invest in a Traditional IRA or a Roth IRA can be a difficult decision, especially if you are unaware of the differences. A Traditional IRA is an approach typically taken with an employer sponsored plan where before-tax dollars are contributed, thus allowing the employee/investor to invest more money over the life of the IRA. However, a Traditional IRA is subject to income tax at the time of withdrawal (typically retirement).

An adjustable rate mortgage (often referred to as an ARM) is a type of loan that offers a varying rate of interest at different times during the repayment period. These rate changes often occur on an annual basis, and depend on market conditions as to whether the rate will increase or decrease. ARMs are attractive because they usually offer lower initial rates of interest than comparable fixed rate mortages.

Now don't misunderstand me here. I am not trying to say that having a partner(s) is a bad thing when investing in real estate, in fact, many times it is a great thing. Partners help to limit the risk of a particular real estate deal, and can provide alternate opinions, and bring needed capital to the deal. In fact, I am still using a partner today, even though my first experience with a partner was a disaster.

Sound too good to be true? It isn't it. The concept and recipe for success in real estate investing is very easy to understand, but very difficult to do. Forget everything you have heard from the "gurus", and the promise of making sweet deal after deal with no money down that is going to pay you thousands and thousands of dollars. These late night infomercials are only after one thing - sell you their system.
Definition and Benefit of a Roth IRA

The Roth IRA is relatively new to the investment world, having only been on option since January 1, 1998. It was created as a result to the Taxpayers Relief Act in 1997 to help Americans better save for their retirement.
For some people (I generally think that in the long run, the Traditional IRA is the better bet for most people due to getting a tax break up front and anticipating lower wages and thereby lower taxes in retirement), the Roth IRA is a better choice for their investment needs than the older Traditional IRA for several reasons.

The interest only mortgage is a relatively new term, and not many home buyers are aware of its existence. An interest only mortgage is the only type of mortgage loan that has regular monthly payments that are only applied towards interest on the loan, and not the principal for the first years of the term of the loan. The advantage of an interest only mortgage is that your monthly payments start out considerably smaller compared to a conventional mortgage during the interest only portion of the loan.

If you have been struggling to get rid of harassing creditors, then online credit counseling may be the way to go. Online credit counseling can be purchased, but there are also free and non-profit organizations available. You can go to a credit counselor if you like, but going in to see a counselor face to face can be embarrassing, and you may lose some confidentiality over time as people tend to get to know you and talk.

A Traditional IRA (Individual Retirement Arrangement) is one of the most popular methods Americans use to save for retirement since it is an extremely versatile and simple. A Traditional IRA is a personal savings plan that gives you tax advantages for setting aside money for retirement. Taxpayers want to invest in an IRA, but when it comes to understanding which one is best for them and why, they are unsure.
