The fact that you are reading this means that you have an interest in cash gifting or cash leveraging as it is termed more recently. I hope to answer some of your basic questions and concerns in this article, plus give you some insights into how to make an informed decision if you decide to embark down the cash gifting/cash leveraging road.
Before we start, I would like to state that I am not an expert myself. Like you I found this concept of money making very interesting and to that end recently became involved with a this form of money generation myself. More about that later.
What is cash gifting/cash leveraging?
Reduced to its basic terms, cash gifting or cash leveraging is simply the act of willingly giving money to someone else without getting something directly back in return. There is nothing new or illegal about cash gifting, it happens around us all the time. Cash gifting may occur for all kinds of reasons, birthdays, weddings, holidays, graduation, business dealings etc. and the list goes on and on.
The big difference that many people feel uncomfortable with is the idea of giving cash gifts to total strangers, which is what commonly happens with the form of cash gifting or cash leveraging that exists now and is growing in leaps and bound thanks to the Internet. Some sources claim as high as 60% of home-based business income is made from these kinds of programs in one form or another. Bottom line, cash gifting or cash leveraging is an extremely popular activity now and with the Internet reaching hundreds of millions of people today and still growing, the potential for generating wealth in this manner is incredible!
Does cash gifting make instant money?
Bluntly stated, cash gifting is not "a get rich quick scheme"! To do well you must work at this and anyone that tells you no work is involved does not understand the concepts behind cash gifting or they are running a scam. Remember the old saying "nothing from nothing equals nothing"! If you are unwilling to put some time and effort into your gifting organization then you will get nothing in return and most likely yell that you have been scammed!
Are there scams out there? You bet there are! There are however some very reputable cash gifting or cash leveraging organizations as well, so it is worth your time to do some research before joining.
How does a basic cash gifting program work?
Very simply when you join, you "gift" money to one or more people already in the program. This amount varies considerably from one program to another and really boilings down to what you can reasonably afford to "gift". In return for this "gift", you become a member, your name is added to a list of names, and in most cases you have to recruit a specified number of people into the program through word of mouth or advertising either via the Internet, newspaper, radio, or any other form of communication you wish to use. (Remember I said this involved some work on your part which is the recruiting of new members to the
organization.)
Once you fulfill these initial steps, your name is added to "the list" that new members see upon joining, and one of the people they "gift" money to is you! Many cash gifting programs also have different levels of entry determined by the size of your initial "gift" and you get back what you give. So for example you cannot "gift" $100 in cash and expect "gifts" of $500 sent to you when you are on "the list".
What to look for in any cash gifting or cash leveraging opportunity?
I approached this in the same manner as going out to buy a car. We all know looks can be deceiving, so don't be fooled by the hyped up promo websites looking for cash gifting or cash leveraging membership that show video clips of people opening envelopes containing hundreds or thousands of dollars in cash. I am sure that these people do exist, but most of us will probably never see that kind of money at first. Also this person, if already wealthy, may have paid a $5000 entry "gift" to join and so would expect that kind of returns.
Remember to "take a look under the hood" and see what support is provided by the cash gifting program you are looking at. Is a website provided to link your ads to? Does a mentor-ship or support forum exist to discuss problems? Are there any tools to help you advertise this program such as written ads, banners, etc. that you could mail out, use on Adwords, or on your own website?
Finally, if possible, "kick the tires". See if there are any reviews or article published by people about their experiences with the particular organization you are interest in joining.
My personal advice on cash gifting or cash leveraging?
This is very exciting and has great potential for making money, if you are careful and become informed! As noted above, with any legitimate cash gifting system, you must be willing to work diligently to gain your just rewards. Remember, you need to work smart, as hard work alone may not be enough.
What cash gifting or cash leveraging program to join?
After looking at a number of systems that ranked well in my "buying a car approach", it came down to "what could I afford"? Having never done anything like this before, I was very apprehensive about sending initial cash gifts of $500, $250, or even $150. Perhaps you are too?
Unexpectedly, I found a website for a very new, and quickly growing cash gifting or cash leverage program that only costs.... (get this) $25 to join. Yet it still ranked well in my "buying a car checklist". Sure the "gifts" are nowhere as huge as some other cash gifting programs out there, but there is a real benefit in this fact as well. First of all, if things do not go well, for whatever reason, I am only out the $25 it cost to join and some personal promoting time and secondly, there are probably thousands more people willing to invest $25 cash gift to join and "take it for a test drive", than would be willing to pay $500 to see if it works. In the end the choice is yours!
